WHAZAMMO AND THE GILLIG #26  (Click the "MORE POSTS" link at the bottom to find Post #1) If you are hooked on the appearance of, the low-slung handling agility, and the all-glass viewing  of a low-floor bus, you had better forget an 18-foot roll-up side awning, having a spare tire aboard, or the fold-up side-mounted BBQ, or having propane/charcoal storage, or a big-monster cooler, that fold-up picnic table, or that multi-drawer tool box, chemical/paint storage of any type, and a "LOT" more forgets as well!! with a low-floor you have none of that, "no" storage room space for a pocket comb,  harmonica, or wearing underwear ! If there is a drawback to a low-floor it is STORAGE ... item one ! even a dog-nosed 35 foot Skoolie has more, there simply is "no", nada, zero, outside storage that can be thought up... I have a space found above the fuel tank for rigid length of sewer pipe, and an engine compartment 24 x36 x20 area to mount a "hookup...

May 10th, May 17th, and again on May 20th ! On the 25th of April, we ordered the lower level coach vinyl from Home Depot, 300 sq. feet, like the last order (for the upper-level berth/bath), it cost a $55.00 bucks delivery fee (last year there was no charge for delivery), May 10th (I check with Home Depot on May 9th... everything is set for tomorrow at 0800), 1000 comes and no vinyl... I call into Home Depot, "Sorry it will be -next- Friday (the 17th~ !"). On the 16th  I called Home Depot to verify... I am told all is on target for tomorrow at 0800), 1000 comes and no vinyl... I call into Home Depot, "Sorry it will be Monday (the 20th~ !"). I lose it... the story goes like this, I order the vinyl, and ...

On this blog, I allude (a lot) to the choke-hold controls, laws, regulations, and organizations that impact our RV industry and our DIY "building" ability, to own or create our own RV, drive it, park it, and live in it (if you so desire).
